Pages: What is Pages, how to create, edit, delete pages
What is Pages?
Pages in WordPress are a type of content that allows you to create static, standalone sections of your website. Unlike posts, which are typically used for blog entries and are organized by date, pages are often used for content that doesn’t change frequently, such as an "About" page, "Contact" page, or "Privacy Policy."
Creating a Page
1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Navigate to Pages: On the left sidebar, click on "Pages."
3. Add New Page: Click on the "Add New" button at the top of the page.
4. Enter Title and Content: Add a title for your page and enter your content in the editor. You can use the block editor to add various elements like text, images, and videos.
5. Publish the Page: Once you’re satisfied with your content, click the "Publish" button to make the page live on your site.
Editing a Page

2. Select the Page to Edit: Find the page you want to edit and click on its title or the "Edit" link that appears when you hover over it.
3. Make Changes: Modify the content as needed using the block editor.
4. Update the Page: After making your changes, click the "Update" button to save them.
Deleting a Page
1. Access Pages: In the WordPress Dashboard, click on "Pages."
2. Find the Page to Delete: Locate the page you wish to delete.
3. Move to Trash: Hover over the page title and click on the "Trash" link that appears.
4. Permanently Delete (Optional): If you want to permanently delete the page, go to the "Trash" tab, hover over the page, and click "Delete Permanently."
