Safari
Clearing your web browser's cache, cookies, and history periodically would prevent or resolve performance problems of your computer. For Mac users, below are the steps to clear your cache on Safari.
How to Clear Your Cache on Safari
You can delete your cache along with other browsing data by going to the Safari menu and then choosing "Clear History and Website Data." This will prompt a pop-up similar to the other methods, except with the ability to delete different types of browsing data.
However, there is a way to delete just your cache if you are willing to take a few extra steps:
Step 1: Enable the secret "Develop" menu by going to Safari, then click "Preferences," "Advanced," "Show Develop menu in the menu bar" box at the bottom. This will enable the new "Develop" pull-down menu at the top of your browser window.
Step 2: Click on the "Develop" menu and scroll down to "Empty Caches." Or alternatively, press Option-Apple key-E after the "Develop" menu has been enabled.
